Sourced from the waste wood from Sub-Arctic Taiga forests
Taiga Spirit's key ingredient, lignin, is sustainably sourced from the wood chips that are a by-product of methanol production. It is treated and purified using state of the art manufacturing processes, ensuring potent and pure end-product. By repurposing this natural resource, we contribute to environmental conservation while harnessing its unique toxin-absorbing properties.
For Vibrant Nights and Limitless Mornings
Taiga Spirit is designed to provide dual benefits. Lignin absorbs alcohol impurities at night, while Vit B1 and Glycine support recovery the morning after. Taiga Spirit helps you enjoy your evening while ensuring a fresh start to your day.
We’ve conducted a pilot study with 60 healthy volunteers
In our commitment to scientific rigour, we conducted a pilot study involving 60 healthy volunteers. This study evaluated the efficacy of Lignin, Vit B1 and Glycine in the context of social drinking. Preliminary results show promising outcomes, paving the way for further research.

How Alcohol and Congeners work
Congers are complex compounds formed during alcohol fermentation and aging. They contribute to the flavour and intoxicating effects of alcoholic beverages. Congeners, particularly toxic in large quantities, are thought to create worse hangovers. Lignin absorbs congeners, reducing their harmful effects.
How alcohol impacts the body
Alcohol affects various organs and bodily systems, from the brain and liver to the cardiovascular and digestive systems. Excessive consumption can lead to liver disease, cardiovascular issues, and mental health disorders.
How alcohol impacts our society
Alcohol holds cultural significance, often associated with socialising and celebration. However, excessive consumption contributes to public health issues, including addiction, accidents, and societal harm. Taiga Spirit advocates for responsible drinking to foster a healthier relationship with alcohol within communities.
The Key Ingredients
Learn about Taiga Spirit's key ingredients that give you back your edge the next day after your night of social drinking.

Lignin
Lignin is a complex organic polymer found in the cell walls of plants, particularly in wood and bark. It is the second most abundant organic substance on Earth, surpassed only by cellulose.
Lignin has remarkable absorbent properties. Its porous structure allows it to effectively trap and bind alcohol-related toxins, such as congeners, which contribute to the taste and colour of alcoholic beverages, effectively preventing their absorption into the bloodstream- reducing the body's exposure to these compounds.

Thiamine (Vitamin B1)
Thiamine, or Vitamin B1, is an essential nutrient involved in various metabolic processes, particularly those related to energy production. Thiamine plays a critical role in the conversion of carbohydrates into glucose, the body's primary source of energy.
After alcohol consumption, thiamine levels may become depleted due to increased metabolic demands and impaired absorption. Thiamine depletion can lead to symptoms such as fatigue, cognitive dysfunction, and neurological disturbances. Replenishing thiamine helps restore cellular energy production and supports normal nervous system function, alleviating the symptoms of this depletion.

Glycine
As a key amino acid, glycine serves as a building block for proteins and also functions as a neurotransmitter in the central nervous system. In the context of Taiga Spirit, glycine's antioxidant properties are of particular importance. By scavenging reactive oxygen species (ROS) and reducing oxidative stress, glycine helps protect cells from damage caused by alcohol-induced free radicals. Additionally, glycine's anti-inflammatory effects help mitigate the inflammatory response triggered by alcohol consumption, promoting tissue repair.

Lignin: The hero ingredient
Taiga Spirit's lignin is sustainably sourced from the Sub-Arctic boreal forests. Using advanced techniques, we extract lignin from waste wood materials, ensuring purity and potency.

Sustainable Sourcing
Currently, The material potential of lignin remains largely unused: 98% of lignin produced is burned.
At Taiga Spirit, we believe in the power of sustainable sourcing and its ecological benefits. By using waste wood, we not only reduce waste but also contribute to the preservation of this unique ecosystem.
